Anna Paquin

Anna Paquin (born Winnipeg, was raised in Wellington) is a Canadian actress. Paquin was born in Winnipeg was raised in Wellington and made her stage debut in the role of Flora McGrath when she played her role as Flora in The Piano. She won an Academy Award at the age of 11 for Best supporting Actress. Anna Paquin is full Anna Helene Paquin born on the 24th July 1982 Winnipeg Manitoba Canada. Canadian actress, and New Zealander who as a kid won her first Academy Award in 1993 for the best supporting actress. The actress played the fierce girl who played Holly Hunter's role in The Piano. The part as Flora McGrath - the daughter to a Scottish muffle pianist in New Zealand at mid-19th Century was a part she won at an audition for the role. When she was nine years old the actress had any experience in acting. When she was in her teens, the actress relocated to America. Paquin played the lead role in Fly Away Home in 1996 and had a minor part as Jane Eyre when she was still a toddler. Paquin played Frankie Addams in a 1997 TV movie adaptation of Carson McCullers's novel The Member of the Wedding as well as a small role as the queen of Spain in Steven Spielberg's Amistad (1997). The actress played teens in the films of Hurlyburly (1998), She's All That (2000), A Walk on the Moon (2000) and portrayed in the role of polexia Aphrodisa groupie on the screen in Almost Famous (2000).
