Sheryl Underwood is an American comedian and TV personality popular as the presenter of The Talk, a popular talk show that airs on daytime TV. Born in Arkansas she grew up at Little Rock and Atwater. Sheryl is the product of a very troubled background. She was a child who spent a lot of time taking care of her older sister Frankie. Frankie was a patient of polio. As a teenager, she had many problems with her mom. Sheryl states that in the past, her mother would stab her father due to him becoming too close to her. Sheryl was a soldier right after her graduation from her college. Sheryl's passion for comedy was evident. She was selected as the first ever female finalist of the Miller Lite Comedy Search, which was held in 1989. Her TV professional career started in 1992, as a participant on the HBO comedy program Def Comedy Jam. She was a TV host in the year 2000 on Oh Drama! Then in 2011, she started participating in The Talk as co-host. She's also appeared in fictional show like Bulworth Niki and Beauty Shop.
