Sheryl-Underwood
Sheryl Underwood was born and raised in Arkansas, and was raised in the state. She became a TV host for the daytime talkshow The Talk. Born in Arkansas she was raised within Little Rock and Atwater. Sheryl comes out of an extremely troubled family. Sheryl spent the majority of her youth helping her younger sister Frankie with polio. While growing up, Sheryl was plagued by problems with her mother. Sheryl states that in an incident, she was stabbed by her father for being too close with her. After her graduation from college, Sheryl was a soldier in the military. But, she was interested in comedy. In 1989, she was the first woman to reach the top of the Miller Lite Comedy Search contest. In 1992, she began her TV debut as a regular on the HBO show Def Comedy Jam. She hosted the show in 2000. the show Oh Drama! She has appeared as host of The Talk since 2011. She has played in fictional shows like Bulworth Nikki, Beauty Shop and others.
